Kohler
Book Design + AR Portal

We advertised Kohler’s new digital-forward collection, Statement and Anthem, with a gift box for leading architects and interior designers. The gift box allows you to build unique sculptures out of the shapes, allowing you to feel the high quality materials and modularity.

All of the different shower parts in the collection are rooted in a strong, rigid geometry. However, when these shapes are seen at imperfect angles, in everyday situations, they appear asymmetrical, beautiful, and organic in nature. Similar to the sculpture work of Noguchi, the shower shapes create a harmony with their environments, whether that’s indoor or outdoor.

A QR code in the third book of the gift box takes you into an AR Portal experience. Upon entering, people see a sculpture of Kohler shapes inside beautiful, immersive, and natural environments. The sculpture can expand outwards, transforming into the shower parts that resemble the shapes. The experience reveals a new perspective at every angle, and shows how Statement and Anthem can harmonize with any space it occupies.
